bag packing at asda for osr scouts fundraising 11/03/17

Following on from the OSR scouts troop working with Anne at Asda over at Abbeywood retail park we had an opportunity to fundraise and keep the scouts in the public eye. There were 2 sessions during the day, 1000-1300 and 1300-1600 hours. A great big thank you to the scouts and leaders that gave up some of their weekend to take part in the bag packing. We managed to collect £391.76 which considering Asda is a smaller store was a great achievement, this counts towards the scouts fundraising activity badge and the teamwork challenge award. Big thank you also to Anne for organising the event and spending 5 weeks with the scouts taking part in the Tool Box.
