The Patrol Leaders Forum meeting last term asked for a science night and Rolls Royce were happy to oblige and sent graduates with 3 different water based science experiments, water surface tension, density and displacement.
The scouts were helping the team from RR to get their displays ready for @Bristol later this term, all scouts have been invited to attend with a voucher provided
The scouts were treated to a master class demonstration from Russ who as a hobby works with silver and has his own hallmark .
He showed how to make moulds, smelt and pour the molten metal and work/ polish the final piece. There was some fascinating information about precious metals and jewellery and everyone learnt something.
Many thanks to Russ
