Summer break but for all those scouts with spare time on their hands we’ve organised another D&D session at the OSR for 3 hours with drinks and snacks provided. Massive ty to Chris whom has played this game since he was a scout himself and is so knowledgeable and makes the digital game so much fun but can still let us go off on tangents and bring the game back on track. The scouts some of which hadn’t played before soon got into their roles and the session evolved into each other support long each other whilst defending the group whilst on our quests. The 3 hours wizzed bye and it was time to go home. Again ty to Chris and well done to all the osr scouts. The summer holidays are here and even though there’s no camping for osr scouts as the leaders are having a well earned break the kit still needs to be maintained for our next camp in October. Leaders took half the tents from the storage container today (the met office said it’s going to be warm so drink plenty and stay inside) but the tents needed putting up and spraying with fabrisil waterproofing. Then 6 hours to dry properly and back when the temperature had gone down to pack them all away. Some straightening of pegs and repairs to poles and we are all ready to go for our next camp in Oct. Big ty to Lee, George and Dan. Let’s all go for some refreshments to rehydrate. |
