osr scout troop visited by falconry expert from puckston park near Weston-Super-Mare 27/09/2017

Tonight was a very special treat for the OSR scout troop, we were visited by Gary and Morgan Falconry Experts from Puckston Park near Weston. They brought along 3 birds of prey ( Spud the Falcon from Europe, A white faced Owl from Africa and Mills the Harris Hawk from USA.
This was a totally interactive session with scouts and leaders invited to don a glove and allow themselves to become armrests for these magnificent creatures. If anyone is ever down near Weston-Super-Mare I would highly suggest you visit the Falconry centre, the scouts loved it and there is much more to see.
