Cooking for OSR Scouts in preparation for the Avon County Cooking Competition

The Avon County Scouts Cooking Comp is early in February 2020 and with the OSR Scout troop wanting to enter again it was time to test our culinary skills. The PLs had to decide on a 3 course menu on the theme of the Olympics all under a budget of £20 and shop for the ingredients. Tonight they explained their menu to their patrols and then to work!! So they had a double burner, a frying pan, Dixie and all the other bits and bobs. The smells were great, fab teamwork and the final results looks amazing. The judges liked lots of the different elements and now to pick a team to represent the troop. Good job all. Clearing up took a while!
